Polly and the Pirate is a recurring sketch on Between the Lions.
Premise
A parrot and a pirate, both named Polly, sail the ocean looking for treasure. A narrator says what it will be, and Polly fantasizes about what'll happen. She then encourages Polly to read the map. After various misinterpretations, Polly finds the treasure. However, it turns out to be made of birdseed. At the end, the Pollys are in a rowboat, while Polly says maybe next time, there'll be something for her.
