	SCENE 1	Cleo asks Lionel if he's not ready to go to bed, and he says "yes". Just then, Leona pounces on Lionel! Lionel tells her that they have to not go to bed, and Leona shows Lionel her new book- "Meat Shower". Lionel tells her it's a meteor shower and tells her that they'll shoot out of a lion in the sky tonight, revealing the cause of not going to bed. Then they read "The Night Of The Shooting Stars" by Arlis Parknark.
	SCENE 1 (Cont'd)	Theo and Cleo come along and they say staying up for the meteor shower won't be easy since lions need 24 hours of sleep a day. The cubs are sure they can handle it, but the parents aren't so sure...
	Insert	Barnaby B. Busterfield III thinks they won't make it through the night, and the pigeons think he cares for the family. Busterfield tries to tell them that he was just saying a fact, but the pigeons think he still cares.
	Insert	The Gray Hand points at the "ar" in "star".
	Film	Fonix sings "When It's an A-R".

	SCENE 2	Theo, Cleo and Lionel have fallen asleep again, so Leona tries to find a way to keep them all awake. Lionel suggests that she should read them her book, so Leona does- "Meat Shower".
	SCENE 2 (Cont'd)	The book seems to have done the trick- the family is still awake! But then everyone falls asleep yet again- even Leona!

	SCENE 3	The family is still fast asleep, and Busterfield says if someone doesn't wake them up, they'll miss the meteor shower. So Walter and Clay go to wake them up by attaching half a cymbal to their heads and then slamming heads together, waking the lions up.
	SCENE 3 (cont'd)	Leona sees that the meteor shower has started, and the family sings about The Mighty Star Lion.
	Insert	Busterfield adds a disclaimer that he has nothing to do with the lions and the meteor shower, and will not take credit for it, unless someone wants to give him credit, and maybe a cookie.
	Designated Reader	Theo and Leona read "The Popcorn Popper". (Version 2)

• This is the first episode in which Martha Reader and The Vowelles do not appear.
• This is the only episode in which the gray hand doesn't pull out a target vowel sound. It just points at the word star to look at the "ar" ending instead.
• This is the first episode in which the interior of the library is not shown, and the whole plot takes place on the roof garden.
• The Night of the Shooting Stars is later Read by Theo instead of Lionel in the Season 5 episode A Shower of Stars / Two Moons and One Lagoon.
• When It's an A-R also appears in Lionel's Antlers and The Ram in the Pepper Patch.
