"Be Bop" is the 30th and final episode of Season 1 of Between the Lions.

The dancing shoes step back inside the book and the lion family reads "Charlie Parker played Be Bop" and groovy inserts happen inside as they make up certain words. After reading the story, the overshoes come back out and they dance to the raga beat. | ||
Insert | Busterfield is quite confused, and doesn't know who's playing the saxophone, so Theo explains it's Charlie Parker. Watler and Clay think the music is played by a man called Bird, "never leave you bird alone." | ||

The funky beat continues, and Busterfield can't make up a sentence fake, so the overshoes bounce on top of him and he finally gets the idea, never leave your cat alone. Meow. | ||
Insert | Theo closes the episode out by saying "Oh Yeah." A full credit crawl follows. And so ends the 1st season of Between the Lions. |

- One of the clips of Clay and Walter dancing while Buster is confused can be seen in the intro.
- Also, clips of this episode including the Arty Smartypants skit can be seen in the PBS Kids Pinball bumper for the show. The clip of the intro seen in the bumper happens to be from this episode.
