The dancing shoes step back inside the book and the lion family reads "Charlie Parker played Be Bop" and groovy inserts happen inside as they make up certain words. After reading the story, the overshoes come back out and they dance to the raga beat.
Theo gives a brief explanation on the life of Charlie Parker. He also explains that his nickname was "Bird".jpg
Insert Busterfield is quite confused, and doesn't know who's playing the saxophone, so Theo gives a brief explanation on the life of Charlie Parker. He also explains that his nickname was "Bird", which leads Walter and Clay to believe that a bird is playing the music.
